Relaxing weekend 9/6/2018

As I have mentioned before, my husband is not an outdoorsman. The only outdoor activity he likes is snow skiing. I wanted to check my spot in Northern New Mexico so I asked him if he would like to go with me on the rare weekend that we both had off. He said as long as there was none of that camping business involved he would go, We decided to take advantage of off-season rates at a ski lodge. Of course we knew there would be no snow, but we looked forward to clean mountain air. We opened the patio door for fresh air while we slept. A skunk seriously and thoroughly ruined the plan. A couple of "hikes" gave me the opportunity to search two different solves. As a flat lander from Texas with heart issues,I didn't do very well in the high altitude so I gave up too easily. We spent the rest of the time being touristy in Taos and then took a scenic river slow float. It was wonderful and relaxing.
