By the time the fog cleared it had reached 40 degrees in Casper. That is great outside working weather. Finished cutting up Russian Olive branches that I had tossed on the deck. The thorns on those things are monsters. They went right through the bottom of my shoe. Can you imagine a crown of thorns made from those?
I learned a couple of things today. 1 When a yard descends at 45 degrees, it is very slippery when wet. Fortunately, there was a wooden fence to break my fall. Unfortunately, wooden fences are a lot tougher than the skin of humans. A large splinter entered my arm and poked through a half inch farther. I pulled it out backward so I am pretty sure there are still some pieces still in there.
