My first treasure hunt 5/30/2016

I read Forrest Fenn's book over and over. I read the blogs. I studied the maps. Easy peasy I naively thought. After studying google earth I knew the general area like my own backyard. All I needed to do was find the blaze and look quickly down.I flew to Denver, met my oldest daughter and traveled by car to our destination. First obstacle...we were on the wrong side of the river with no visible way to cross over. Grrr. I was so sure of my solve.. We went home disappointed but not defeated. We would be back.
